I remember meeting this kid on a discord server. He was very talented in art.

The thing is though: he said he ONLY did it for money and attention. didn't enjoy art or drawing, was purely driven by money and views.

no shame in focusing on money with your craft of course, but the problem with it being your SOUL focus is that almost all forms of art are very unforgiving and require a lot of work. I feel like the people who truly love art are the same psychos who keep making the art even in spite of the hardships.

The kid stopped posting after a few months.

some advice for new artists out there: do it because you love to do it. don't start something with the soul goal of JUST making money and getting attention. Do it becasue it is something you genuinely enjoy doing it and you will go far.
